I just went for a test ride and all I can say is WOW, what a difference.
This is the 1st ride since I changed the mufflers to the Cycle Shack slip-ons and rejetting the carburetor.
The bike is louder and the throttle is more responsive. It seems to start up from a stop smoother, and shifts smoother. The other thing I noticed is that the slightest twist of the throttle is felt. Seems to give me more control.
I wanted to go for a test ride of 5 miles but once I felt it, I couldn’t stop.
50 miles later of twists and turns and straights and zingin’ and really jumping on it.
The exhaust seemed to get louder at the end of the ride.
I love it.
And that is WHY I ride a Sportster.
