View Full Version : New XR750 Replica Street Legal g-ray 10th February 2008, 07:51 Seen this? http://thekneeslider.com/archives/2008/02/09/jay-springsteen-xr750-replica-street-tracker/ Johnny Wolf 10th February 2008, 08:11 Yes, yes I have, and at $26,000.00+ I bet they are flying off the shelf. Good lookin' bike but not for that kind of coin. bplinson 10th February 2008, 09:09 Looks great. You can build your own with parts from Storz Performance. www.storzperf.com g-ray 10th February 2008, 16:05 Zoiks! 26 large! Speaking of Storz, I've always had my eye on those upside-down forks but just could never commit to the price. I bet it would make a world of difference. redneck-rider 10th February 2008, 16:15 That was a fine looking bike, I love the wheels on it they had a great look to them, Good lines and looks to be done well Ralphthe3rd 10th February 2008, 16:43 Yep, seen that before, and it's nice but pricey. The unusual feauture is the Buell XB12 motor- which ought to not only put out lots of power- but it's also much lighter than the XL motors found in most streettrackers. Although if I were building the bike, I'd probably have opted for the smoother XB9 short stroke motor, more for it's revvie high rpm nature- which is closer to what a short stroke XR750 feels like. And those PM Flattrack wheels are straight off the track- nice touch too ! vmaxx4 10th February 2008, 16:46 Zoiks! 26 large! I was just thinking how great that whole front end would look/perform on my 1200N. rodhotter 10th February 2008, 17:53 a work of art, harley could use some of the tech, but they are too CHEAP, could make sportys LIGHTER,penske single shock $1500, rear forks $2500, etc, tech isnt cheap but mass produced at a lower level could make a SPORTY SPORTSTER, really make the big cruisers look bad Duane Wood 10th February 2008, 18:09 The unusual feauture is the Buell XB12 motor- which ought to not only put out lots of power- but it's also much lighter than the XL motors found in most streettrackers. ???:doh:doh:doh:rolleyes: |
