I just ordered the kuryakyn hyper charger for my 04 1200R and was wondering if anyone else had one on a 04 or 05.
was there any performance difference or was it just cosmetic?

I put the HC on my '05 883. I don't feel a performance difference but it sure sounds better, you get some feedback through the AC that was muffled before. I think the performance increase will come with the combination of AC, exhaust, and rejetting.

A side benefit is that now a carb fart scares the people in the car next to you.

Got the screamin eagle filter with a jet kit and vance and hines strait shots. Carb farts were gone after taxes paid.

The hypercharger is cosmetic only. If you want to get some performance gains out of your AC then you should go with a NRHS hurricane intake setup. The air filter elements they use are HUGE and flow almost as well as you would running without an AC.

That NHRS a/c kit deffinately looks like it will suck some air.

Yeah, and it comes in 2 flavors too. Big Suck(2" thick), and REALLY BIG SUCK(3" thick)models. You can also get the ham backplate offset 2" forward to improve legroom too.
