We are about halfway thru building the chassis for our new 2005 sportster project with a hardtail frame and springer front end. This frame is designed, and will be jigged, to take 1991- 2003 883 or 1200 engine/tranny.

Our frame builder has also got an XL chassis under build with 12" over girder front end and devil`s horn handlebars.

Depending on how we get on over the holiday period, we hope to have the bike in near completed form for the London Bike Show at the end of January.

Should have some pics. at the end of the month.

We are also customising a brand new 2005 FXSTi with a 17 degree rake and 8" over front end, 16" apehangers with internal throttle, internal clutch, internal mastercylinders, internal wiring and micro switches with twist grip hi/lo beam. Its also getting a rear tyre conversion to 200 full profile on a polished disk with a new rear fender and leather seat.

i see you have black springer front end would that fit a stock 2001 sporty frame like the chopper kit does? how much to ship to pennsylvania? this is most likely the wrong spot to ask this question... :cry1 sorry

It will fit a stock frame BUT needs a lot more custom fitting unlike the chopperkit which bolts straight on. However, we have also a design in mind for a complete bolt on springer kit similar to the idea of + 13 degrees and 8" over and also possibly a girder kit as well. ( a few months down the line yet )

We are fitting these black springer forks to our new project - should have some pics. in the next few days.

Dug, Where is the London show? I'd like to pop in and see your stuff. A girder sounds great...better than a springer or those nasty telescopic forks.. :-)
