I was just told that some dealers take used jackets in on trade. Has anybody heard of this? I have a sweet Harley jacket that is too little for my huge stone-like pecks.........(well, just a bit snugg around the pizza and beer too).

How about offering up for sale here. You would probably get more than you would on a trade.

yeah, I would sell it here. I kinda thought I could do better in person. This jacket is nicer than anything I saw at the dealer. I guess they "don't make 'em like this anymore".

OOps got you mixed up! So many strange names in here! I still would love that jacket, not many of them around here either! I am now using a boring non leather jacket, due to wind and rain, but come summer and bike meets Id love a genuine american well used jacket!

I still have no answer on the "trade in" thought.

I don't know of any dealers that take trade-ins on used jackets. I know some custom shops like Langlitz and Foxcreek will take their own back, at a really, really reduced price.

Your best bet is to offer it up for sale here: state size, type of jacket, what features it has. And a few pics would help too.
