A member is able to go to their User Contol Panel, click on Edit Avatar, and from there they can select one of many "Pre-Defined Generic Avatars". Many of these are in the .gif format (animated) & can be selected to be a choice by the user, then why not allow other animated avatars (.gifs) by a user that is selected by browsing their computer as one would do just to add a pic. Even as a XL Forum member I am unable to upload my own animated avatar pic, pops up a box that reads that animated files are not allowed. Long story short, allow ALL members to use animated avatars of their choice, as long as not of a vulgar or pornographic nature and within the guidelines of this forum.
