A friend of mine has a sporty and was wiping off his bike with what he calls a micro cloth??? Supposed to be able to use it wet or dry. Anyway, his exhaust pipes were still hot and he accidently touched the hot pipes with the cloth and it left a mark. He's tried just about every solvent on it with no satisfaction. Any ideas on how to get the mark off?? Thanks.

if it is a mark from the cloth melting on the pipes you can go to home depot and get some high grade steel wool. make sure you get the finest one they have. they sell everything from very rough steel wool and to very fine steel wool which does not scratch the pipes. i have used it on my pipes from my work pants melting onto my pipes. and it worked great.
also that never dull that txsporty said he used is great stuff. that will make chrome and aluminum shine really nice. i used it on my triple tree and it is almost the next best thing to actually having the chrome triple tree. my triple tree went from being a dull flat look to being very shiny and nice looking.

Thanks for the input guys. My friends cloth mark must really be tough. Looks like the Nevr Dull he tried loosened it up to where he could carefully scratch it off with his finger nail. He says the Nevr Dull works well on his chrome. Again, thanks.
