I bought an oil tank off ebay to go ahead and paint White. Unfortunately, I already changed the oil this past month for the year, so I will have to wait until next fall to put it on. I also plan on putting a Low Rider tank and dash on my bike, too. :smoke Hopefully this coming summer.

In the meantime, I also slapped on a laydown tail light lens, the emblem my brother threw off his battery box, and painted my helmet to match the bike. :clap

Just drain out oil if it is fresh and reuse it after new oil tank install.
Why wait till next fall to put on new oil tank. To remove old tank
the battery and box have to be removed to gain access to old oil tank.
The oil tank has a couple of bolts on the back that only can be
accessed from the battery side. The whole process takes less
than 1 hr to do. Just be careful that you don't scratch the new
paint when reinstalling the new tank. Good luck and have fun. :yikes
