What's it gonna take to put a Fatboy front on the sporty. Do I have to convert to a wide glide first or can I go about it tire first and wide glide as I can afford? Thanks

You will have to go wideglide. The Fatbot wheel hub is wider than the area between your forks on a narrow front end.
