Greetings to All:
I'm new to Harley ownership and to this site. It took 40 years, but I have my first Harley:
1993 XL-883 Sportster (only 3200 miles)
Stage 1 kit (so I'm told)
Screamin' Eagle mufflers
Lots and lots of Kuryakyn goodies
Forward controls
LePera solo seat
11.5 rear shocks
Fat Boy gas tank
It has enough "oomph" for me, though I do plan to change a few things. I'm going to get a larger seat. The solo seat is not adequate for the "ample gentleman," plus my lady has no place to sit. I also need to add passenger pegs for her. Nevertheless, it's a sweet ride without the additions.
I'm also going to get new tires (have a post about that on this site) since it has the originals. They're dry-rotted and hard as granite.
Anyway, enough about the bike. As for me, I'm just another Harley fan. I've been one since I was 7-years-old and saw the Shriners riding their Electra Glides in a parade. I work, go to church, and ride my Hog. What more can a man ask for?
