You know, you could always welcome others to the forum to get your post count up...or post some replies to someone else's thread... :doh

Welcome from Boulder, Colorado! Whereabouts in Kansas are you? I grew up just west of the Colorado/Kansas border. Little town called Idalia.

Hello Wandrur! I grew up near a little town of Goessel, but now I'm in Manhattan. Idalia sounds familiar, but I'm not sure why....my father may have mentioned it, he lived in Denver (Coors Brewery)for a few years a long time ago.

I wouldn't have felt right welcoming others to a forum I just started posting in...that and I don't have much time to post pictures at work (slow internet connection at home) so I needed 15 posts fast to get it all done. Sorry if it gave the wrong impression.

Anyway I got the pictures posted for those that would like to see,

Ah, just jerkin' yer chain. :laugh

Idalia is 30 miles from St. Francis on Highway 36. 30 miles north of Burlington (I-70 goes through there, and it's about 13 miles from Kanorado), 30 miles south of Wray (Highway 34 goes through there). If it helps, Bonny Reservoir is between Idalia and Burlington... It's a tiny town, so I'll be shocked if you know it. :p

Oh, and diztroy, if you ever do make it into Colorado from your direction, you should swing by one of my brothers' steakhouses--The Route Steakhouse in Burlington, Route 36 in Idalia, and 4th and Main in Wray. ;)

Just passing along what I consider to be essential information.

Ride safe.

Thank you very much wandrur!! I've been trying to plan a trip to Colorado Springs to visit an old friend, so a good streakhouse is another excuse to drive on out there! Absolutely essential information in my book!

Yeah I have the same T-shirt too and got it from Harry's.I dont have much problem as my bike was registered here in Germany with 101db but those days are over all bikes now have to be under 80db or so but since mine was registered before the law was passed and my bike was built before 83' which means I dont have to get it changed to the new laws.

If its smoking bad you need to show it you care with a good overhaul
just like mine is getting right now.
And so to plan B, run the 1200 evo for a while, its smoother and not as load but it gets me around.

Oh don't worry, I'm gonna get it all taken care of in the VERY near future! I don't mind not being able to drive it.....driving on snow just doesn't seem like fun right now!
