OK I am now done (almost haha) with the handlebar change. Now I can't get the freaking brake line working. What's the trick to getting the pressure built back up? I followed the directions in the service manual but I have no pressure. Not working. How the heck do I get this thing working?
THanks guys!

I take it you've bled the line already.
I had the same problem with mine a while back.
Some advice I got (here actually) was to strap the brake lever down in the engaged position with some zip ties.
Did that before going to bed and the next morning I cut them off and the brakes worked great.
Hope that helps ya out.

Sounds like air in the master cylinder. Don't bother trying to bleed it at the caliper. Loosen the banjo bolt between the master and the line and bleed it there till you can pump fluid out of the master. Just tighten and loosen the banjo bolt as if you were bleeding the caliper. One you can get fluid pumping there, move down to the caliper. You may even want to bleed the line at the caliper before you try the bleed screw to purge the whole mess.

Thanks guys. Will try that this evening. Hopefully that will fix things, otherwise it's off to my local indy tomorrow (my one Friday off in the year besides vacation) to see if the line he sold me was bad and/or for some help.

OK so I finally got the bubbles out at the caliper bleeder screw and fluid is flowing through (but not fully out the other end of the clear tube, it just stays about halfway in there) but I still have no brake action, the lever moves the full range with little or no resistance.
What next?

Confused? Out the other end of the clear tube????? What?
I typically pull the brake lever and hold to the bar with wire ties, then open the bleeder on the caliper and let it sit until fluid starts to run out on it's own. Then you can use a mighty vac and pull the fluid through the caliper. The master cylinder typically takes a bunch of very slow pumps with the cap on and it will come around.

What I meant is the fluid is bleeding through the bleeder valve into the clear plastic tubing but is not flowing out the other end of the clear plastic tubing. No air bubbles in the fluid in the tubing either.

Alrighty I kept screwin' with it and finally I got all the air out and started to get some pressure. Feels about back to normal now, it's definitely working!! So now I am completely done with the bars whooo (minus the wash and pics, which I'll get both tomorrow)
Thanks for the advice everyone, I believe it did have air in the Mastery Cylinder
