Yep; met a handful at last year's Lake Erie Run. Once they figure out when this year's run is, I may end up meeting a handful more. Also may meet up with an ex-member this summer (it'll be a good long road trip, so timing and money will have to factor in).

P.S. Also met Quebeker at PD13 last year. Saw Mick ride in, but he vanished into the crowd before I could say hi.

I live just south of St. Louis, MO. Haven't went on any long trips in years due to health issues, have a dog now, etc. (NO, I will not TRAILER my bike) :shhhh Appreciate the thoughts and offers, maybe I'll get out more this year. Although short trips and all, I still managed to ride 12K since I got my bike in Sept. of 2006. Winters are crappy here, cuts down on my riding some. For example we have an inch of frozen sleet and more on the way tonight, the temp is 22 degrees right now.

Apr 25 26 27 Reservations all made be there from beginning to end .. and ready to ride and know the back roads in that area well....

Yes, we met at DelMarVa Bike Week and had a great lunch at the Smokers Pit BBQ. Hopefully we can do it again in '08 with more members. The wife is going this year on her '06 883C and we're staying a couple of days.

BTW, any members riding in Dick Gelfman's Ride Across Maryland, Maryland Affiliate of Susan G. Koman for the Cure (breast cancer foundation) on May 31 - June 2? If so pm me maybe we can meet up. Our local american legion tried to get a rally going her last summer, I think they are gonna try to do it again this year on the first weekend of september. We are in NE Oregon if any of you all would like to come out.

I saw a crazy skeleton bike on Google images. A few weeks later it popped up in a thread on here. Then This last summer I went down to our Local HD dealer here in Meridian Idaho and there it was. in the bike contest. I think this guy goes by Skelly ? Cool guy very friendly and enthusiastic about metal fab. Hope I can catch up with him this next summer.
Oh ya! I spoke to Keithnathens when I tried to buy a seat from him off Craigslist(pre-XLF for me). LOL! I don't think he trusted me though cuz he never called me back.heh,heh. Hey Keith I really was gonna pay you honest!

Met a ton since 2008 (last time I posted in this thread) Way too many to list without forgetting someone. I will say that I have not me one person that I would not welcome into my home. I told someone that when I bought my Sporty, it was a social thing, and it's rung true for me. I've met some great folks. Have dinner with Parrothead and his wife nearly every week! Was part of a group that bought someone a bike. Gave and received a ton of parts and other swag. Crashed at the home of some, had others crash here.
