I usually run 30 front, 36 rear when solo.

I raise the rear pressure to 40 when two-up.

I run 36 front 42 rear.....

But I live in a HOT climate .. so the higher pressures kep the tire cooler..

cold climates would probably want a lower pressure to allow the tire to move more and warm up qicker and maintain a temperature closer to what I have here

I guess I should check mine it looks like 30-36 seems to be popular with the solo riders

....Really?? Guess I always figured that in hotter climes ya'd wanna be careful of excessive pressure due to heat build-up....

a lower pressure will cause the tire to move around more and heat up quicker....

most race vehicles run low pressures cold as the tire gets hot and the pressure comes up..

I've had cold tearing on the gixxer due to the tire not getting hot enough...

I only got the cold tearing once ... I didn't think it was possible on the street...it's normally something ya only see on the race track..

BUT it was up my favourite twisty mountain road ....263 corners in 11 miles
