Hey, I am trying to get this full face from eBay, what do ya'll think of it?

I have a really nice half helmet, DOT approved but... I wanna go full face for a couple years, trying to buckle down on safety gear/riding.

Hopefully I take her fer a hundred bux.

The flip up dealy is pretty cool IMO, and a brand new one was at $240 currently.

Whats a 'good deal'? Also, if I do win it and it comes... as long as its not REALLY banged up, do you think its a safe helmet to use? Or... I guess I should ask... what to look for besides the OBVIOUS in regards to safety issues.

Later dudes!

Hey, Moker knows his stuff! He's got the ebay thing down! ;)

I hope it will fit you properly. Can you try the same helmet on in a local bike shop? Sizes can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer....

I don't think I'd buy a helmet off E-Bay. There are several internet site that have good prices on Helmets. Best thing to do is go try on helmets and see which one fits you the best. Sizes vary from brand to brand. Flip-up helmets that have plastic latches might not hold up well in a get off. They can come open. They are alos noisier than regular full face helmets. Google to find online sites that sell helmets at discounts.
