I'm a little confused on your title making reference to a 3/4 Cafe fairing. Is that a typo? Did you mean 1/4 fairing?

I couldnt wait when I got mine, so I bought the part and the paint and paid a local guy to do the work for me. Came out to about the same price, and I had it in a week!

What's it like to ride with? Does it decrease wind blast at highway speeds or no difference?

paxman1,
If you would like to see pictures, go to the gallery and search my screen name. I have the HD 1/4 fairing on my bike and could not be happier. It works great and contrary to opinions that I've heard, I think it looks great! I bought mine primed and paid a local body shop 100 bucks for a perfect paint job.

No significant help with wind blast, unnless I kinda hunker down behind. (Which, at 100mph, I am prone to do.) But I love the look, and actually get lots of compliments on it (or rather, on the bike in general. Then again, an orange cafe-esque Sportster in OC, Cali is gonna stand out when surrounded by black hogs.
