View Full Version : 1200N SuperBrace
liddown 22nd February 2008, 19:47 Has anyone received their 1200N SB as of yet? Just wondering if the fit and finish are what you expected, and if you have had a chance to install and use?
Pictures would be nice also!
Thanks.....

Folkie 5th March 2008, 00:26 Sorry to hear you guys are getting the run around. I think that if I decide to get a fork brace, I might look elsewhere.
liddown 5th March 2008, 03:55 Same story here... Email on Feb 27th stating should be back to them from the anodizer within the week...

Tim Opiekun 6th March 2008, 20:37 Don't want to sound stupid, BUT is this something you guys paid for? or is it coming from HD to fix a problem?

This is an aftermarket part, a fork brace, and it is not from HD to fix a problem. Just a part purchased to add more stability to the front forks.

Tim Opiekun 6th March 2008, 23:00 do you have one RC?
Nori 10th March 2008, 20:48 Brace for Nightster is here! I spoke to Chris from SuperBrace a few weeks back and they said they will contact me once the product is in. Got a call on Thursday and looks like they got them back from been anodized. So I went to pick it up on Friday, took me a while to find the place cause it looks like they just moved, the building didn’t have the street number in the front. And yes I do notice a difference right away upon install, improved handling and less vibration (worth the $ IMHO).
Does it makes it safer for me? probably not, cause now I’m going to carve the canyons a bit harder. :banadevi

maddog 25th March 2008, 19:05 I've had an anodized Super Brace on my Sportster for about 4
years now. An excellent piece and highly recommended.
You can see a piece of it in the pic below.http://xlforum.net/photopost/showphoto.
scotthotrod 26th March 2008, 14:49 How is the clearness it looks close to the fender?
Garv 26th March 2008, 15:24 Put mine on yesterday. Clearance is good, the brace has been machined to sit perfectly on the forks, no messing around with positioning it right. Took less then 10 minutes to install.
