Just wondering if anyone is running different types of tires, I replaced the
rear tire just a few thousand miles ago with a Dunlop and was thinking
of putting a metzler on the front . Anyone running this combination on there
bike ?

I would be careful mixing tires most brands/types are meant to be run in pairs. If you mix them you might get a wierd handling problem like over or understeer.

I am running the Michelin Commanders on mine and love them. They last forever and so far show no weird wear patterns front or back. They have been on the bike for about two years and about 7500 miles. They don't look that good in the catalogs but IMHO look great on the bike. The picture in most catalogs just don't do them justice.
