I really want to put a spring seat on my '99 but I can't come up with any good ideas on how to install it. Could someone with a spring seat please post some pics of how you did it, or if anyone has ideas they would be appreciated.

That looks really cool. I would imagine you can make all that stuff yourself. The springs are avaliable from J&P or Dennis Kirk. The rest looks like just sheet metal work.
The only problem is you sit kind of high up on the bike, I prefer to sit lower than that. looks cool though.

Licks Cycles has several spring seat kits to choose from for about $200 and up. I like this one here: http://www.lickscycles.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=33&products_id=827
But like cadiero, I prefer to sit lower in the bike. I do like the looks of spring seats though. I guess I need to try one out. Soetenqadesign makes some really cool stuff, but unfortunately, they don't sell to the public. They supply a few links to retailers that carry a few of their products, but not many. Good stuff though.

You can try Bar Enterprises. They use memory foam in them and can do custom stitching on them as well. Prices look pretty good too. Besides you gotta love the picture on the home page.
