I've decided on getting a Mustang Vintage Wide seat, but can not decide between the One-Piece Wide Vintage Touring Seat or the Wide Vintage solo and passanger pilon combination. I see myself always using the rear seat for a bag I use. I also have a ridged mounted tall sissybar and rack that I don't see myself ever taking off. But is there any reason the two piece may be a better choice. I've found out that the solo is actually 1/2 inch wider then the one-piece.

Has anyone bought the one-piece and wish they had bought the sole and rear pilon or vice-versa?

I bought the one piece with optional back support. I love it. No regrets!:tour

I just installed the Vintage Wide Solo and feel that it is the best seat going (for me). I never ride with a passenger and don't have any luggage to carry. I am looking for a solo rack to go behind the seat. The one I got off Ebay doesn't fit.

I am very impressed with the Mustang seat. Although much wider than the stock seat, it blends well on the sides. Everyone who has seen the bike with the new seat loves the new look.

I go mine at http://www.motorcycleonlinestore.com/harley. Paid $209 shipping included. I did have a short wait as they were backordered but it arrrived a week ahead of what they told me it would. Great service from this company.

we bought the solo and passendeg pad for my wifes 05 1200c. she doesn't like how the rear seat sits slightly above the front seat. so she rides with just the solo, has detatchable sissy bar. she now likes the look of the bike better with just the solo. since I have a heritage we load my bike up with what we take, not an option it sounds like for you.

he a photo with the solo.http://www.sportster.org/thebikes/images/brownjams-2643-1.jpg
