Welcome to the forum and thanks for your service. Be safe and enjoy your new Nightster.

Perhaps Harley Davidson could come up with a promo that with every new motorcyle an active duty serviceman/woman buys, it comes complete with a DD 214 so you can really enjoy riding the heck out of it!!! :sporty:

I wish they would give a DD214 but I only have well hopefully only have one year left in.

Oh yeah and my first mods will be a set of Black D&D Fat Cat Exhaust 2:1, Stage 1 A/C (not sure which one yet??????) and a Power Commander 3.

I am in the Army stationed at FT. Riley,KS currently deployed in Baghdad.

Welcome to the forum from Morro Bay, CA. Stay safe over there so you can come home to your new Sporty. Your service is honored.

My parents went to high school together in Junction City, KS. My grandfather on my mother's side was a drill sergeant, and his last active duty was at Ft. Riley. They settled there after he left active duty (20+ years), and during much of my early childhood he worked at the PX on base.

Strangely enough, this same grandfather and his young family (my mom was 4) were living here in Morro Bay, CA when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor and the USA entered WWII. He was part of an activated Louisana National Guard then, soon to become Regular Army.

Welcome again.
