Well I got impatient and slapped it on last night. Nothing to it. I finished up a bit late so I took the bike out for a few hours this morning. I did feel a slight difference in the snap (slight increase) from the SE AC kit to the S&S AC kit(more air flow). I ran the bike prety well and not one carb fart. Stopped and cooled it down and then took off again and no issues. I did no adjustments to the jetting. I'm still at a 45 jet w/ 175 main and the bike runs very strong!

I couldn't be more happier with the look. It looks fricking balls out with the S&S Teardrop AC on this 05 1200 custom and you can see more of the motor. The ham can was too large and damn near covered the whole motor. The ham can also stuck out further than the S&S so I have a little more leg room to the forward controls.

I have made many changes to the bike and will get some updated photos and post them.

Black 05 1200 Custom, Stage 1, SE Pro II slip ons, S&S AC kit, Mini back rest & pad, HD Quick Detach windshield (standard size), HD Chrome front light & rear signal lense rings, LED brake kit (rear light & signals all light up red) & HD fork bag.

Thats good you did not have to rejet, I sure did. My guess is the SE flows much better than the K&N relplacement filter

I have the foam S&S filter in mine. The S&S comes oiled...I rode the bike today (sitting down in my works parking area next to the back door) and it's 85 degree's outside here in Southern, CA. and the bike is running real strong. The SE filter looked fine I have to admit, no holes in it.

Some say the S&S AC kit makes the sporty look like a BT. I don't really think it does IMO. You can see much more of the motor so maybe that is the effect they are describing?
