I've seen a lot of really chap saddlebags on E-Bay latley for $39-$49. Most of the are made by Jafrum. Just wondered if anyone has purchased any of these and what are your thoughts on them. I wouldnt leave them on all the time, Just for the occasional weekend trips in addition to my T-Bags..

I bought a set and they are pretty cheap, not the best quality but they do the job ok. Worth the $39.00 if all you want is to use them occasionally.

The key word here is occaisionally. I bought a set once and they gave a good full year's service.
Remember, you always get what you pay for.

I would prefer a nice comfortable $39 backpack that fits well :D but then I'm an odd one for sure...but I think that Preacher's and Will's points are good ones in that these inexpensive bags won't last as long as something of higher quality but if you want something for just every now and then....well then I guess you'd probably be fine with them

Throwover bags sound like what fits your bill....easy on and off...no addtional hardware....
