A man once said "whatever you're reaching for it better be candy because you're going to be eating it".Knowledge itself.

Why does the adjective "burly" ALWAYS follow the word bikers in news stories.

Once, long ago, I worked at the Naval Observatory in Washington, and at that time it was the home of the Vice President of the U.S. Now I think he lives in the Bat Cave.
Every night dozens of Secret Service agents, probably those who had done something bad, hid in the woods and watched. And watched, and watched.
Then, one night a bad person robbed a liquor store on Wisconsin Avenue, and fled, turning into and alley between a strip joint and a fan store. It was the back door to the Observatory.
The guard was surprised (this was many years ago) and in they went, and within seconds were surrounded by twenty or so young, extremely tough, men with automatic weapons and night vision gear. The only question was who would keep their ears.
They were subdued.

Read about this earlier on, great story...
I love the end part where they mention the bingo callers telling the robbers to shut up so they could hear the numbers being called!
Sounds like quite a bar...
