I've installed my SB and it seems that my front end is bottoming out all the time now.

Is this normal?

I've also noticed that I can now feel every tar strip and little bump in the road. I understand that the brace is there to stiffen and support, so is this something I just need to get used to?

Thanks for any help.

It sounds like you may have installed it too low

IMPORTANT: Before riding, bounce the front end of motorcycle and cycle
the suspension to insure brake lines and horn Do Not contact the brace. It
may be necessary to move or purchase after market brake lines and horn.

There's a line inside the Superbrace, just align it up with the bottom of the fork leg boot covers.

Maybe your forks were binding before?? I've got the same travel on mine before and after. I still haven't put them to the test yet, but it does to change the handling characteristics a bit.
