Here's a question I have not seen on the forum. Do you still get oil in your air cleaner after a Buell/T-Storm conversion?

Just wondering if the heads were designed differntly to keep this from happening.

Thanks

From my experience, I don't think the problem with oil in the air cleaner on 03 and earlier model Sportys is from oil blow-by.

I think it's from poorly designed breather baffles found in the rocker boxes. The 04-05 Sportys have re-designed breather baffles and don't have the problems the earlier bikes do ... and it's [not] because the newer engines have a better piston ring pack or better valve seals which elliminate oil blow-by in the crankcase/heads.

Just my opinion,
Ron

They both vent the crankcase the same.
