Who knows of a comfortable seat for new Sportys?

I moved this thread into the Seating and Luggage area. Hopefull it will attract more attention.

But that is a pretty open question. There a dozens of options out ther but each has it's own unique characteristics and purposes. And a lot of it comes down to plain old personal preference.

I'd suggest looking through the threads here and using the Search function. This is an oft discussed topic so there s likely a lot you can learn from what is already out there.

I agree with Erik, lots of opinions on this subject, most, but not all agree that the stock seats suck.
For me, I love my Mustang wide seat

My son just got the Sundowner for his well he actually want get it till Xmass:D but I have good things about the Sundowner. Mustang is a good seat to had one of them on my Road King Custom. I guess it depends on how much you want to spend.

I've had the Sundowner on my bike since it left the dealership. It's a little on the big side for some tastes. But so is my ass, so it's all good. The wife finds it confy also. (The seat, not my ass.) The only thing bad I've got to say about it is the crappy plastic seatpan they use. It has been known to develop cracks over time, although I haven't noticed any adverse effects from the cracks. It's a good seat for the money, IMHO....

I didn't mind the stock seat too much but my wife could not ride pillion more than a few miles before she had to get off.
We put on the HD pillow look touring seat and she loves it.
I would like to get a solo Corbin saddle.
When it comes to Brand it seems to be a matter of taste in appearance.
Everyone seems to like different features about different brands.
Like Gotwa said--do a search--you will find plenty of pro and cons on all the saddles

Small, sleek, bad a-- looking = Pain Large, Pillow, Ugly as he-- = comfort Changing from forward to mid controls helped a bunch for me but I am still in search for a good looking comfy seat. Good shocks helped a lot to.
