does anyone know if 99 and older wheels would fit on the newer bikes? if so, what mods need to be done?

yes but u will have to space the wheel out,two spacers are needed and there is a kit available to do this.99 and down do not have sealed bearings so you will be greasing them every 7500 to 10.000 miles. note that i have a 03 and just had this done,try and do this yourself if you can because h-d charges a pretty pennie.

Isnt there an issue with axle diameter as well? I thought pre-99, 99-03, and 03-up all have different axle diameters. I could very well be wrong, but I think Thats why I ended up scrapping the idea of putting my 21"laced from my 00 on the 94 front end I dug out of the garage. I'll have to check again to be sure.
