The bike is going to be done by this Friday. The tech (John) is working on the front today... New wheel, fork sliders ect. ect.

I am on the road Saturday for sure, the tech (John) and the collision guy (Matt) promised me it would be done. I told them I am dying to ride.

The tech is going to spend the entire day working my bike, yippie!!!!:clap :clap :clap

I ve been there, and I can honestly say that for me it was worth the money, time, blood , sweat, late nights, hangovers etc.etc.etc. Now that its done, I can look back at it winking at me slyly from the back of the garage and giggle a little. Then just when I think I'm stisfied,........WHAM,........... in comes another idea for a mod here, a tweak there, its pure passion. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.

Chromeitis. It's a sickness. Harley owners are particularly prone to it. Can be fatal to the checkbook.

LMAO! This crap started even before I took delivery of my sporty....a year and a half later I'm into over 3k in extra's and haven't even done the 1200 conversion yet.
I think the majority of us on this forum have the "addiction" so don't worry, you're not alone. :D

You are smart, I am too compulsive and when I see something I want it NOW.. I do get a 10% discount though, which does help, and sometimes the parts guy will give me 15%.

I go to the dealer all the time; I like to look at new bikes and dream about getting a Buell or even a Road King (sorry for the blasphemy). They see me coming too… “Here comes that guy who sits on all the bikes and never buys anything.”

Never under any circumstances go near the wall with chrome things hanging on it.

LOL!!! I know what ya mean. Everytime a group of us go riding, someone will need to stop at one of the dealers along the way. I always walk out of there with something....
