Just got my new C&C solo seat for my 1200 C and what a piece of crap, pure garbage the leather has flaws in it, the leather is so thin anything will tear it, it has no rubber feet or anything on it to keep it from sliding all over, the front metal piece that centers the Front and holds it in place is so small it almost doesn't work, and the front of the seat mates like crap to the tank, The foam is so weak after sitting on it for a minute I was on the pan, All I can say is what a mistake this was and I wish this on no one. I will call C&C tomorrow and see if they will make it right or return my 230.00. I am going to order a Lepera Daytona LT I cant think of any other seat to buy I have 4 seats for sale now.

Sorry to hear about that. I have a Lepera Daytona LT Sport and find it to be well made and comfortable enough for the long haul. If you get one, I hope your experience is the same.

Ya I have a abnormal a-- and I need to go through 2000.00 worth of seats to find one I can make it through the day on. I just put mid controls on my 1200C and I actually went 85 miles the other day on my LePera bare bones and I only got a small amount of numness , no pain. I think the mids are going to be a big help.

Pardon My ignorance but I searched for C&C and found nothing. What is a C&C seat?

I remember reading about your seat issues JG. One thing to keep in mind (with good seats like your Corbin, etc.) is that it can take a few hundred miles to get 'em broke in. Not meaning this one obviously but just tossng that out there.

Check out the mustang pillow seat - they actually look like the cushion of a lazyboy. Supposed to be very comfortable. I've got a mustang daytripper seat - it is much better than stock but still requires frequent stops to encourage blood back into my nether regions.

I was thinking of getting another seat for longer rides - the daytripper looks good and is comfortable for my usual commute.

Cheers,

Brett

I got my LePera Daytona LT seat today and does this thing have some back support. I cant wait to ride and see how it is. It actually looks and feels like it might be the one. I think I should go into the seat renting business I have a stock, C&C leather solo, Corbin Solo, LePera bare bones, and a LePera Daytona LT. Anyway anyone looking for a seat I am putting them all on E Bay soon. The mid control conversion seems to have helped my back more than anything so maybe I will be OK with this combo. I am getting a wind vest next.I also put a new set of Vance and Hines pipes on my bike today I just finished the install but its to late to start it up and piss off my neighbors. I will post pics tomorrow

Post a pic of your bike with that seat if you can, I'd love to see how it looks on a Custom. I love the way it looks on Xena's bike.

I have a C&C seat and love it. Mine has no flaws and it actually is well constructed. The front piece that goes under the gas tank is kinda of small, but one I bolted her down no problems. I am sorry you didn't like the seat.

I LOVE MINE.

Glad I read this thread. I was about the buy the C&C but got the Le Pera after I read your initial post. Just put the Le Pera Daytona Sport LT on the Roadster. Very well made, thick leather, looks terrific, and had tremendous back support on the 10 mile errand I ran.:clap Hopefully I'll have a chance to give it the monkey butt test this weekend. If not, with the superb base pan I can always have the foam changed. :tour
