I Have A 96 Xl Sporty With Stock Mag Wheels. I Would Like To Have Them Painted Wrinkle Black. Does Anyone Have Any Ideas Where I Can Get This Accomplished. If I Have To I May Even Consider Buying Them Already Painted. Any Ideas Or Suggestions!! I Live In Germany But Could Send My Wheels Or Buy Some In The States.

Thanks

I would get them powdercoated. They usually look great in gloss black. They are already rough so wrinkle coat is not nec. You can also buy wrinkle coat at your friendly and greedy harley dealer. Where do you live in Germany???? I spent five years in heidelberg and 7 in Wiesbaden.

I too would consider powder coating them. I did mine in black and they are easier to clean and look great.:whisper My bro had his wheels wrinkled in black because they match his engine conversion yet they appear dirty. Heres a pic of how mine turned out...

Kind of offtopic but who painted your heat shield? That's hot (pun intended)

Yep! I powdered the lowers on the front and wished I had done the trees too.
The shields were done for me by a local custom painter and have become my signature so-to-speak regarding my Sporty. :banana
