Years ago, I had a winter hand protectors. It was a leather cover w/insulated padding that snapped over the hand controls. You would put your hands inside the covers to access the throttle/clutch and were very warm.
Has anyone else ever seen these?

FYI: I think National Cycle or someone now sells plastic wind deflectors for your hands. They attach to the mirror stems.

heh...
So I emailed that guy from dabronco's post.
he looks to be a pretty cool guy, but he says:
You would order by email, payment by International money order only. Unfortunately, I've been scammed out of one jacket already, and I can't take any chances with Paypal or anything else.
lol
i sent him a reply, saying basically that he's offering me no recourse should anything go wrong. heck, he's gotta protect his arse just like i gotta protect mine. we'll see what he say's for a reply....

just put these on my and my wifes bike. They fit and work well.
Temps in the low/mid 40's and i was wearing my summer perforated leather gloves. My hands were not cold at all. If needed those hand warms pack heaters for skiing could be added to give some heat. I got the black ones. No pics yet, but will try to get pics soon. Only thing is you must be comfirtable with operating your controls and not seeing your hands. I got mine from Pep Boys for $16. they are also available online at places.
