I just tried out the Progressive front spring setup and as pleased as can be.
Used the 11-1523 kit, which most online dealers can ship. I used the supplied 2" spacer, and replaced the milky ATF with 15wt. fork oil purchased from the local dirt bike place.
The front end sag was reduced to around 3/4", and the setup felt pretty stiff in the driveway. On the road, the difference was immediate. The bike was sure footed all of a sudden, nice into a low or high speed turn, and no more diving during breaking. Good thing I've got some 440's coming on Friday, because the front end change made the deficciency of the rear end even more apparent.
If it's sunny and 40, I'm going.

I used the Progressive #11-1527 standard height front and it made a decent difference in front end sag. I think a little stiffer spring would have been better. But then again I am 250 lbs. I suppose I could lengthen the pcv pipe an inch to get it a little stiffer but I would hate to have to compress that spring.

I bought it all from Cyborg Cycles. Spring kit was about $70 with an 05 Custom Chrome cat shipped.
This was put on an 05 XL1200C for those who wondered.
