Any of you guys have this kit installed on your sporty? Threw a set of 11" progressive 412's on my 04 883C last year, and was thinking of lowering the front this winter. I am looking for opinions (both pro and con) and experiences (both with riding and installation) with these kits as well as photos if you have them. Appreciate the help.

Here is a 04 1200C with 11" 412's and White Bros. 2" lowering kit on the front. It is alot firmer than stock, and corners better. Hasn't bottomed out yet,and kept the stock kick stand.

nice scoot! Really like how the bike looks with both the front and rear ends lowered. With 11"ers and a Lepera bare bones seat on my bike, the front end of my bike looks really high. Where did you get the white brothers lowering kit and what did it run you? How was the install?

Try easternperformance.com. I had a problem getting the lower fork screws out. Had to take them to a local indy(Turboz) and use a impact driver to remove them. When you remove them(lower fork screws) do not pull the tubes up, or you might have to dismantle the lower legs. It's in the directions. Also, cover the tank, front fender and chrome a/c with heavy towels. Get a 1 3/8" socket, put tape around the tube caps. When installing the tube caps, it would help having a buddy there.

Thanks for the advice. easternperformance is where I got the 412's, best price, quick delivery. What made you lower your front end 2" vs. 1"? looks? handling? short like me (5'2") ?
