Hey Everyone,
I am accumulating parts for my tax paying etc for next spring. I have a 05 883 XL that is bone stock (black) and I have already procured a few items thusfar:

1) Cycle Shack tapered slipons
2) 45 slow jet (for a first shot)
3) Tachometer

My next purchase will probably be a HurricaneFlow 2" replacement from NHRS (it seems everyone who has one likes it). I think in conjunction I will either buy their head breather setup or the one I saw here on EBAY.

Item # 4594569463 if the link isn't working

This seems like a somewhat elegant choice, although it does not have a filter element. Has anyone ever purchased or know anyone who has purchased one of these set-ups.

Cheers,
Dan

Those are Track Tek parts one of our sponsoring vendors. You can buy the whole unit on sale until Christmas. Go to the forums page and click on the TrakTek link. They are probalby the best AC set up for the money out there right now.

Folks,

That's a 2110-0316 DS breather, or else a (cheaper) copy. Don't buy it. MSRP on the DS kit is $29.95. The cheaper copies have inferior plating and welds, so if it's one of those, it's worth even less.

We use the DS parts in our RamFlo kits, as do alot of other companies who market air cleaner kits. We evaluated the knock-offs for inclusion in our kits, but the price difference wasn't worth the drop-off in quality. We pull some of the parts out of the DS kits because they're not needed with the RamFlo (anyone looking for a great deal on several hundred little hose clamps, or some of those "Z" brackets?) and add others, so our mounting kit ultimately differs from the DS kit.

I believe NRHS sell a breather kit to go with their HurricaneFlow air cleaners. They can provide it when you buy your HurricaneFlow.

Best regards,
