Doc's Harley-Davidson in St. Louis is selling all its in-stock bikes for MSRP plus shipping and $200.00 setup on 11/19/04. No, I don't work for them, just wanted to point out for at least one day a dealer that usually sells for $1-1.5K over MSRP is selling at MSRP. I think we'll be seeing (hopefully) more of this around the country as HD cranks up production. Don't accept the high priced dealer deals!

Yep I think you could be right.
Saw an ad in todays paper for a local dealer selling all new HDs for $500.00 under MSRP. Their calling it a winter sale, although winter hasn't really got here yet. You only need to take delivery by Dec 1st. Don't know if they are adding on other things like security alarms and extended contracts. They usually do both and charge still some extra. I think the market is finally starting to slow.

HD Sales in Napoleon, Ohio sells for MSRP plus their $600 setup / paperwork / destination / etc. fee. BUT- for December, they're giving you a $1000 gift certificate with the purchase of a new Sporster. I believe 05s are included in this deal, as I don't think they have any '04s on the floor- and they do have a great selection of sportys in stock now- I was just there today. Check out their website for all the details and fine print. www.h-dsales.com
Almost makes me wish that I would have waited to buy.
Welll..... no, I'm actually very happy with my bike.
They're nice guys in Napoleon, talk to Charlie or Jerry, they'll set you up. Small town dealer with good volume and a very nice store.
Disclaimer: Not an employee or salesguy, just a happy customer. I think the deal ends at the end of the year.

You might want to call Howard Chappell @ Ted's Harley Davidson in Alton, IL just north of Saint Louis 1-888-635-4740. The quoted $10700.00 (+ $26.00 doc fee ) out the door, for an 05 XLC Sunglo Blue with Profile Wheels.
They had the best price on bikes that I could find.
