Ok, I guess I'm spoiled... and 50 - 60 weather is something some people would die for this time of the year... but man, chaps kick some butt. In 50 - 60 weather, they really make for a warm ride! I can't believe I waited 2600 miles before I tried them.
Anyway, I bought a pair from Sunrise Leather at the Sunrise Mall in Sacramento. They were really nice, insulated, and only $99. So they went home with me. Rode about 50 miles, and they were very good. After getting home, I took them off and noticed that the leather holding belt buckle part was coming undone! It was already like 75% undone. Sh*t... I called up the leather store. They are getting a delivery this Thursday and said I can come back and pick ANY pair I want, even the nicer $150 pairs. Woohoo!
I bought my riding jacket here, and it is great... I would reccomend this company to anyone in the area. The stuff I bought previously was all GREAT with no problems at all. From now on, I will just inspect very thoroughly before I leave, it IS a bargain leather store.
Later guys... can't wait to get my new chaps on Thursday... what a deal.
