4 days ago this bike was in the bush rusting away with the jugs off.Got it for 200 and its mostly all there.I wanted to get before and after pics but my buddy is really moving forward on this.Has allready stripped and painted the frame,took the jugs to the machine shop.Found out they are out of round and will need replaced.I'll try and keep up with the progress.

Nothing sweeter that ressurecting a sporty from the brink of death. Nice work, keep it up. You will want to take as many pics as you can to document the restoration process.

Hi Bikerdude,this really isnt mine (I only tracked it down)but I'm helping and trying to learn as we build this.I think we're putting a wideglide frontend on it and a 150 rear tire.I'll have pics of that tomorrow.

I'd love to find a deal like that. Made one of these days I'll get lucky...:D

We got the wheels and a wideglide frontend on it.A new set of jugs /pistons on the way.Tried to take some pics but my camra messed up I'll try again today.

Notice the rear fender,its made from a front fender off a fatboy

Hey you can put the brakes from a 2k on your bike if you put a 2k+ swingarm on the back and Storz makes a bracket so you can put the front calipers on a pre 2K fork. Got the bracket for like $70.00 and found a chrome swingarm, caliper and bearings online for like $100.00. Good looking scoot already.

High CatusJack,Going with stock(very low budget)the machine shop got us a set cheap and should be in any day.

(shamless bump)BTW still waiting on new heads.they screwed up the shipping.:(
