What do you guys think? My forks and triple trees will be powder coated gloss black. Please let me know your thoughts!

Thanks,
Ed

I have to vote for the six spoke. I want a pair. I am going to clear powder coat them after I raise enough cash. I want to powder coat my lower sliders and triple trees andozided black.

Great minds think alike

I like the second one but there are a million other options if these are in the 4 to 500 each range. don't limit yourself to hd only. If you look you an actually get some wheels made in America instead of Japan. Just a thought. Rc comp has some really nice cast wheels. I DO LIKE THE SECOND ONE THOUGH. Here is a link to about 20 different styles of cast wheels. Some are quite inventive. Wish these were avaiable when I bought mine. http://www.rccomponents.com/wheels.jsp?category=14487&img=wheels.jpg

Ralph is correct about not limiting yourself to HD alone, with so many better choices out on the market these days one could buy a cast wheel from any aftermarket company for just a little bit more money than the MOCO wants and get a whole lot better lookin wheel IMHO.

Six spokes. The others look too 'busy'.

I got the Black Lightening Stars myself. Hides the brake dust
better. Paid $305 ea. and no tax thru Chicago HD.

I'am with rotten ralph don't limit yourself to h-d wheels. RC and a bunch of other aftermarket wheel companys are out there with designs that blow h-d wheels out of the water. But it comes down to what floats your boat.

between the 2 choices for your application, I would go with the 5 spoke, option #1.
I think that with a black fork the 2nd wheel would stand out too much and detract from the bike. The main focus should not be a wheel.
