Finally bit the bullet and paid the taxes- installed my new gear this afternoon, bike runs and sounds quite a bit better than stock... took it out for a quick shakedown before the sleet/snow crapola started this evening.
90248-99A SE II Pro Slip-Ons Baloney Cut(until I can save the jack to get some Bassani Pro Street pipes, I like tinkering and tuning and having some options...)
29066-03 SE Pro High Flow A/C,
Dynojet Thunderslide Jet kit- 170 DJ main, 45 HD slow, 2.5 turns out, didnt drill the slide but used the DJ spring for now- used the new slide, throttle response is much improved over stock with the lighter slide. Jetting is pretty close, but I didnt ride far enough today to get any real solid feedback for tuning purposes
I did get a SE carb top, kinda cheesy but the chrome looks good on the carb and with the SE A/C you can see it much more clearly without the stock backplate on
Got a good deal on all the goods from the nearby stealer- 20% off the whole works- I was happy! 3 hours, half a pack of cigarettes, a six pack of barley pop and a wounded Mastercard- the best way to spend an afternoon that I know of!
