Anyone use Nexl NXT helmets? http://www.nexlsports.com/index.php/cmd/default/cPath/21?osCsid=967558b4fa23cb08b76486aea238bdcf
I'm pretty interested in these because they are of a slim profile, and look to be good quality half-helmets. Just wondering if anyone has experience with these. I tried on a SHOEI helmet yesterday, and it looked like a big mushroom on my head...not what I like...But I know, function over fashion, these NXT's seem like good lids.

Those NXT's are supposed to be the smallest legal helmut you can buy. They are not much bigger than the illegal Beanie novelty helmuts. My experience has been to try on any helmut before buying. They all fit different and look different on your head. I wouldn't order over the net unless I have all ready tried a helmut on in person so I know that it fits and doesn't look stupid.
Just my $0.02 worth.

I have one and I like it. I really don't even notice it when I'm riding unless I'm going WAY over legal highway speed :shhhh , then it pulls a little. However, like Scooter said, just 'cause I like it doesn't mean it'll fit you so see if you can find a place that sells them so you can try it on.

That's skooter with a "K" not a "C". There is another here with the handle scooter. I mis-spelled my handle on purpose. But NOBODY noticed. :headbang

there's one place in Yonkers that carries them. I'll have to stop by one way on the way home from work. I just hope they'd have a couple on hand that I can try. It's a small parts supplyier/installer http://www.ultimatecustomcycles.com/ (ok, maybe not that small)
I'll email 'em and ask.
