Are most HD wheels one in the same or must I get one one specific to my bike? My point being i have a stock front wheel from a 97 Wide glide that is like to put on. So will it fit? Thx

You have to check the axle size. An 04 is probably a match, an 05 has bigger axles.

:frownone Don't think it will work. The axles are the same, but the hub is wider to space the disc out for the wide glide front end. Narrow glide wheels back into the late 90s should fit. I changed out the 21" front on my 04 Custom for a cast 19" from an R model.

'99 H-D and earlier wheels will NOT fit 2000+ up H-D due to axle size and the differences in bearings.
