I just picked up a set of Dyna defender police hard saddle bags. The bags will fit my 04 custom If I modify the mounting hard ware. The thing now is the bags may look to bulky for the bike.

Anyone see these bags mounted before.

Nonsense if you like them they will look great !!!
Some other people might think they look too bulky, but who cares what they think anyway :D

When I got my Glide bags I raised the bike up on the stand as straight as I could without it falling over. I then put the right size boxes on the ground next to the rear tire on either side, place the bags on them and mocked them in position to see what they would look like on the bike.

I liked what I saw so I fab'ed the mounts and am in the middle of my "sport-bagger" project! Like Gary said, if YOU like them, then it's good..............
