maybe its cause its late and i am tired, but what do you do about the platic fender protector thingy the factory puts on the fender when you go to a solo seat? does it peel off, it didnt look like an easy thing to peel? i have and 05 custom and am debating the solo seat.

On my 2003, there was a bolt in mine, holding a seat strap.

When in doubt, check with your dealers service department.

It peels right off...

The Mustang Vintage Solo w/ the leather Fender Bob pretty much covers it up. I left mine on as I throw the Pillion on every-once-in-a-while. The wife wanted to go for a ride Christmas Eve night and we tooled around town for 45 minutes. Had a couple of kids in an SUV just staring at us, like we were Santa or something. Wife waved at them as we passed and you could see their smiles a mile away.

I've got an '05 1200R and switched to a brawler solo seat and it covers it completely.
