1991 Sportster 1200
Just picked up a new 21" spoke wheel...got the tire mounted and ready to put on only to find out that the speedo drive has a built in spacer that will no allow the part that rotates to rest in the groove on the rotor.
I think the spacer on the other side is a bit too big as well, but I think I can replace it with some high-grade flat washers.
my question: can i grind down the built-in spacer on the speedo drive?
