I have been accumulating the parts to put on these bars for almost six months. I finally set a date and did whatever it took to get all the crap and put it on. So here they are.

And lastly here is the grin that has been stuck on my face since I put them on.

There are many more things in the work for the bike, but due to the budget the timeline is indefinite.

LMK what you guys think.

Those apes are pretty sick, who makes them?

Got em off ebay. Rocks chops makes em. They were pretty raw when I got em though. Had to weld on an additional 2 inches to each end of the bars so my controls would fit, drill out dimples for the wires, grind and smooth some parts he missed and then send them to the powdercoater. But for the price and the unique look, well worth it.

One of my arms is longer than the other so I had them custom made to accomodate. JK

I'm just not holding the bike straight. Trust me they are even, I measured them and put them on level surfaces to make sure they were square as well.

Thats just either because that is the kickstand side it is leaning on or you are staring at it with your wrong eye

Looks great. I have the same risers as you in powder coat and I cut them down to accomidate the apes so they looked right. For some reason, the shape of your bars allows for the full pullback without looking odd. Go figure. Same risers with different bars and one loooks right one way and one looks right in a different way. Nice job.

i went to his site just now and it looks like he does everything by hand which is awesome! mad props to him! all his other bars ar the same. One side looks different than the other, due to the hand fabing. he needs a bending machine instead of the torch.

Really coool! have you considered a springer front end with more of a chop? That would look nasty with those apes!

Not gonna be springer as long as my current forks work. I have some other things planned but yall are gonna have to wait and see those as they happen.

Just to comment on the shorter side...it's hard to tell, if you look at the bottom of the pic, you can see that it's not square with the bike and it does look like the bike is leaning a bit to the left side...either that or the camera man :D

i agree again the bars are not straight at all.The bottom pic the bike is not leaning and the camera is straight. he uses a flame not a bender to make them check out his site. half or more of the bars this guy makes seem like one side is different than the other. Hopefully he bought them for less than $40 BUCKS. Especially with the work he had to do after buying them, welding extra, adding dimples ect.

I'm happy with them. I measured them just to make sure and you are right the left side is 1/16" lower. I think the pictures are deceiving and the actual difference is not noticable. I don't care, I like how they look and ride. Wouldn't make a damn bit of difference to me if the 1/16" was gone or not.

those are bad a$$!!!

and for god sake they are strait. look at the very first pic and put your hand on the screen to block out everything below the bottom of the bars and you can see they are strait and tilt you head at the same angle the bars are at. all the pics are leaning at some kind of angle and its giving off one hell of an illusion

Who really gives two $hits about the bars being off by 1/16". They look cool and compliment the bike nicely. However, those risers got to go. Go to eGay and get some black 2" risers, which typically sell for approx. $40-50.

Good luck with your customizing!
