I am planning a trip to Newfie land in July. Any thoughts? How's the weather?

You should be OK for weather in July or August. However bring warm/rain clothes because you never know. The weather can change fast here.......4 seasons in one day is not unheard of!

I would plan on bringing rain gear. The road will be through Nova Scotia to the ferry over on the ferry around Newfoundland, mostly Argentia and Placentia, that is where the grandfolks were from. But of course will travel around. Just in the planning stages and of course if everything goes well. I will keep you guys posted here.

Oh one other thing is there a Harley dealer in Newfoundland?

Bring rain gear for Nova Scotia too!
This is the dealer info for Newfoundland......You may want to get service in Sydney Nova Scotia before you take the ferry over to the rock....The dealer is quite the drive away from where you are going.Enjoy your trip!:tour

The dealer is 1 1/2 hours drive from Argentia (where the ferry lands). Approx 1/2 hr secondary road and 1 hour on the Trans Canada Highway. There's an Atlantic HOG ralley here in August (9-12th). I'd guess some info on sites to see etc would be available on a HOG site.
