Anyone put on a nice set of floorboards on a newer forward-controls Sporty? I'm looking for a comfortable set but most seem on the small side......

I put a set on my 2000 Sporty. They are full sized and fully adustable for any angle I could possibly want. I got them on ebay. They were around $100. A bit more than the smaller boards, but worth it for the adjustability. I find them very comfortable. :)

Check out ebay and look for a seller named 2orangeharleys. He has lots of Sportster accessories for sale. That is who I purchased my floorboards from. I can post a picture of them if you want.

Found them after I got your first post! These guys are great to deal with and looks like I'll be going with this set (great adjustment capability).

Thanks.....................

Are these the ones with the double-plate anti-vibration feature? They look great.....

Thanks Snowman. These are not the anti-vibe boards, but I like em'. I saw the anti-vibe models though. I wonder how well they work. I got these floorboards because I have long legs and my right leg was constantly hitting my air cleaner or stack. I was going to try extending my forward conrols either forward or out a couple of inches to rectify the problem. Then I saw these. Now my feet rest flat on the boards and my leg is out just enough to miss the stack. Freeway rides are much more comfortable. No more trying to keep my legs up on the pegs after a few miles.

Ask me if I miss my pegs. :D

I received my anti-vibe floorboards, they look like they stick out to far, wish there was a way to modify them to be closer in to be more under the brake pedal. They are comfortable tho

Got mine today and just did a preliminary fitting. I see what you mean about sticking out further, but they still look and feel real good so far. Need to get some riding time in on these.

I tried leaving out the middle extension and it brings the board up and in like you were looking for. Ended up putting them back in for the lower fit. :tour

Is there anything like this that would improve the leg room for a passenger (as opposed to the stock passenger pegs)? My wife is 6' and much of that is legs. Her only real complaint about riding with me is that her legs are pretty cramped onto those pegs.

Tom,

I took at look at how these would work as a passenger peg replacement and they would be great if you never had to put them up!! They weigh too much to stay in the up position. They do extend the leg "reach'" about 3-4" lower though...... :wonderlan
