Has anyone put a small backrest on a '05 custom with the stock badlander style seat? If so, which one?

By small do you mean "mini" or "short"? By "Badlander style" do you mean the Badlander seat or the stock XLC seat. Some 1200s come with the HD Badlander installed by the dealer. If you want to use the HD "mini" backrest you must have the Badlander seat. If you want use the HD "short" backrest, which is just a little taller than the "mini", it will work with the stock XLC seat. If you get a little more specific about what you want we can help you out.

Sorry. It has the stock seat that comes on the 1200 custom.
