View Full Version : different looking '05 XL883 Low
JaggedEdge 25th January 2005, 20:37 I changed how the whole bike looks. It looks nothing like the XL883 Low I bought back in September. What do you think?

xl1200r 25th January 2005, 21:28 It's got that old style K model or XL touring look...looks good.
sportsterrific 25th January 2005, 21:52 Looks fantastic. Now you need matching hard bags to complete the look. Keep spending $$$$$!
FlyBorchetti 25th January 2005, 21:59 Nice scoot! That color looks good.
Makes me want to ride even more. Hey, it's up to 23 degrees here :cry1
alleydude 25th January 2005, 22:07 Great bike!
willprevale 25th January 2005, 22:45 I fell in love with those bars so of course I bought and installed them. Best I've ever had. Now I'm trying to figure out how to mount a speedo so I can use a windshield bag.
maddog 26th January 2005, 01:38 Super job dude!!! I am impressed.. You got a totally unique look with a carefully considered selection of stock parts.
jimmyheadgear 26th January 2005, 02:00 Looks great!
The second shot makes it look like its ready for parade duty.

Not a chance of me getting cocky... too many great bikes out there.
I just put stock parts together to come up with something I like.

nardo 26th January 2005, 03:28 SWEET! :clap :D
Russ 26th January 2005, 04:35 Almost looks like a custom, but not quite. It's cool. I dig it.
Personally, I'm not one for the windscreen/passing lights/engine guard on a sporty, but that really is a pretty bike. This pains me to say it, but it's begging for a set of hard bags. :D
dabronco 26th January 2005, 05:16 Very nice indeed!
Buckshot 26th January 2005, 05:25 I think it looks really awesome...especially since I had the buckshot billet collection on my bike as well as the same fuel cap you have. Have you thought about the chrome master cyliner? If so...check out my sale in the classified section. I couldn't re-use it on my dyna so I am selling at a reduced cost! Sorry, just had to get that in there. It really does look awesome! :tour
biggdann 26th January 2005, 05:40 That is one very sweet ride :clap
Kenny 26th January 2005, 05:43 Absolutely fantastic!!
I really like the aux. lights. It gives it a nice fat front end.
Dash 26th January 2005, 08:18 Nice looking bike JaggedEdge. Is the seat the Solo Reach Seat from the H-D parts catalog? By any chance did changing the seat give you more room, or change the feel of the bike?
chipdog4 26th January 2005, 13:04 Looks really good.
Have you thought about a laydown license plate?
crackers 26th January 2005, 13:10 that looks like one welll kept vintage bike. :D

A few people have the same thought, but I am fighting the temptation to
do so. If it doesn't fit in my pockets it doesn't come with me. I am sure they
will look good but??? I was going for a compact Dyna look... not too keen on the bagger look. I am sure when I take the first cruise my pockets will not do. :tour

cbrunson 1st February 2005, 00:05 Looks really good.
Have you thought about a laydown license plate?
On that subject, I really hate those stock brackets so I made my own that wraps around and lays down. What do you guys think ?
